A lot of respect for working parents who earn Black Belts
Tonight we practiced Palgae 6 & 7 forms and I found my techniques were not as good as they were 6-weeks ago when we were practicing them in class every day for about a week. Realistically to succeed we have to practice ALL the various forms and moves every week to perfect our skills which is very daunting to accomplish when you are a working parent who has a full time job, responsibilities to raise your child, maintain a house and still train 5-days a week AND then find time to practice ALL the skills. Not to mention complete the Black Belt application packet with 10 essay questions and also learn and memorize the meaning of Mastery, the levels of mastery and all the other various Black Belt Life Skills.
To all you working parents who are First Degree Black Belts and above I salute you for your accomplishment.
